olive is a darling four-year-old grey-and-white cat. short-haired, green eyed, smart and sassy and devoted to her person. she's healthy and has all of her shots (though if she became an outdoor cat, she'd need some more vaccinations). her fur is plushy and soft, and she even smells good! like fresh laundry. i swear.
it is breaking my heart to have to part with her, but i'm going traveling in october and i need to make sure she has a good home by then—or even sooner, if it works out that way. it's possible that i'll return and be able to take her back in, but it's also possible that i'll keep traveling and she will need a long-term/permanent new place. i would love her to end up living with a friend, or a friend of a friend, but what's most important is that she finds a good home.
i think she'd do best in a home with people who are gentle, calm, and kind. if you're at home a lot, that's even better. i'm not sure how she'd do with other animals. she's a bit shy at first, but once she gets comfortable with you, she's playful and saucy. she has a lot of energy, and i think she's secretly longing to be an outdoor cat. she has her claws, but she'll never use them on you, except ever-so-lightly, to wake you up in the morning.
basically, olive is a doll. she'll make your entire world cuter.
"Olivey is the cutest damned cat ever (and please don't tell my semi-tamed ferals I said that). She preens and poses, chirrups and rolls; she loves love, but isn't one of those over-the-top, pet-me-all-the-time cats. She does play, but doesn't run around wildly. I'd take her in a heartbeat if my husband weren't allergic to cats." —Tiffany(unpaid testimonial!)
